Students walk around the University of San Diego campus in the sunshine with blue sky

Hi, I'm Meg, your University of San Diego Admissions Counselor.

Originally from Michigan, I was raised in Northern California before making my way to sunny San Diego for my undergraduate studies. As a proud USD alum, I love connecting with prospective students and families and sharing what makes this community such a special place to learn and grow.

    Why USD?
I chose USD because it felt and continues to feel like a welcoming, supportive community dedicated to the personal and professional growth of its students, faculty, and staff. I feel incredibly fortunate to have both attended and now work for a university that is deeply committed to developing the whole person and inspiring individuals to make a meaningful, positive impact in the world.

My top tip for the admissions process:
My best tip for the admissions process is to be yourself! It can be easy to get caught up in trying to say the “right” thing or fit a certain mold, but the most meaningful applications come from a place of honesty and self-reflection. Take time to think about what matters to you, what excites you, and where you feel you’ll truly belong. When you approach the process with authenticity and intentionality, you’re much more likely to find a college community that feels like home.
